Houston's Guide Service strives for success for outings in the hunting and fishing industry. Founded in 2009, Captain Jarrid has taken his favorite hobby in the whole world and changed it into a service. His passion for the outdoors runs deep, and he loves to share his experiences with clients from all walks of life. Teaming up with other top notch outdoorsmen in Sherpa and Stewy help make HGS what it is! Whether it be a hunting trip for Black bear in the deep woods of Northwest Wisconsin or fishing for elusive walleyes of the pristine waters of the Arrowhead Region, Houston loves to help teach his clients how to be a more successful outdoorsmen.
Capt. Jarrid Houston is USCG, First Aid/CPR Certified and knows the ins and outs of handling the Great Lakes Duluth/Superior and the many surrounding waters. Jarrid has a proven track record of successful outings through hard work and time on the water. Growing up in the St. Croix River Valley region of Stillwater, MN and Osceola, WI, Jarrid has a love and respect for river fishing. The St. Louis River is Jarrid's strong suit. Matt "Stewy" Stewart is a fishing guide with great love of the outdoors. Matt was born and raised on the shores of the Amnicon River (tributary to Lake Superior) near Amnicon State Park in Wisconsin. Matt can always be found on water somewhere. From the lakes of Douglas County to the Gitch and St Louis River. Matt takes his fishing serious and will make sure to help others any way he can. He puts clients on fish!

Eric "Sherpa" Holl is one of the best anglers in the Duluth area hands down. Last year Sherpa fished over 50 different bodies of water in and around NW WI and NE MN. His finesse jigging tactics are second to none. Sherpa is an avid supporter of selective harvest and other conservation efforts in and around the Twin Ports. He has the uttermost love and respect for the St Louis River and Lake Superior. Eric grew up in the Bloomington, MN and also knows a thing or two about metro fishing which gives him an edge competing with crowds. You can most often find Sherpa fishing the St Louis River. That is because he lives blocks from it!
